You’re trying to live your life as healthy as you can, but in some ways you get bombarded with so many pieces of information you’re not sure where to turn. You’re not sure what to do. There’s a method that we’ve been working on developing for awhile that encompasses a lot of different aspects of your health. If you take care of these areas, you will see over time your health improved. You’ll see over time your pain get better. You will see over time serious changes in your life and in your health and that’s what we, that’s what we all want. This is called the CREATE health system. With create, what we’re going to do is we’re going to address six different areas, six elements, six pillars of comprehensive natural healthcare. This is part 3 of a series Healthy Goal Setting 2020
Cleanse
The first one is C-cleanse. Our body is full of toxins. Our world is full of toxins. We’re exposed to things all the time from what we eat, what we drink, medications we take, the air we breathe, we live in a toxic environment. Making sure that our body is cleansing is going to set the stage for a healthier you.
Rest
The next one is Rest. We know that sleep has tremendous healing benefits, amazing healing properties. And so we need to address our sleep because so many of us don’t get enough or we don’t get good quality sleep. And so we’re going to have a, an exciting video series. You’re going to hear, Cathy’s going to be teaching us about ways to help improve our sleep. And I’m so thankful for for that opportunity.
Eat
The next step is how you EAT. Your nutrition is vitally important to natural healthcare, but there’s not a one size fits all when it comes to nutrition. There are general habits that are going to help the vast majority of people to be healthy. And because we aren’t doing that as why we aren’t healthy. But everyone’s an individual and we’ll talk about how to address that, how to follow very specific general habits that are going to help you to be healthy, but then also how to individualize how you eat. That is how you’re going to be able to over time really achieve your goals. So let’s make sure that we’re that we’re doing that here as well. So we put those pieces together and we have comprehensive natural healthcare.
Activate
Next step is Activate. Think about in our body, what is the thing that controls everything? It’s our brain and your brain sends messages down the spinal cord, out of the nerves, out to every single part of the body. And as long as that pathway is clear, your body functions really well or has the ability to function well, but different things happen that affect your body’s ability to function. We have misalignments in the spine that will put pressure on nerves and those nerves start to affect the way the body’s working. It can cause pain in some people. It can cause physical exhaustion in some people it can affect our thinking and in other people, either way, you’re not going to be as healthy if those nerves aren’t activating in the right way. And so what’s really special is that as a chiropractor, one of the things that we get to do is work on helping making sure that those nerves are activated.
And when we do that, you have the best chance to really achieve great health.
Think
Next step is THINK. Stress management is vitally important because when our body is under stress. It not only does it make us feel uneasy, anxious, stress, but it has a negative effect on our health. It will have an effect on our ability to lose weight. It will have an effect on our energy levels. It will have an effect on our mood and how we treat the people around us. It is vitally important that we handle stress in a way that’s going to help us help you to truly be healthy. And so we’re going to learn about healthy ways to deal with our stress.
Exercise
Exercise, you do all the right things, but you don’t move. Your body’s going to suffer. There are different things that affect our health negatively and physical stress is one of them.
And if our body isn’t able to withstand those physical stresses over time, we will see our health decline. Exercise is going to allow us to come back. That exercise is going to allow us to jumpstart our weight loss. Exercise is going to help boost our energy level. The right kinds of exercise will actually improve the functioning of our brain, and we have all the anti-anxiety, anti-depression medication in the world sitting inside our brain. We just need to unlock it and exercise does that. So that is our create system. We cleanse, we’re resting, we eat well, we activate our nervous system. We manage our stress and control the way that we’re thinking. We exercise in a way that’s going to produce health and healing. It’s comprehensive natural healthcare. You put those pieces together, you will see amazing changes in your health and how your body’s functioning, and I’m excited to see what that’s going to look like for you guys.
