This is what your mom meant by “put your shoulders back!”
Put your shoulders back, you don’t want headaches, back pain, lower self esteem, sleep problems, hip, knee and ankle pain, digestive problems, stress, arthritis.

Now when it comes to exercise. There are a 4 Rules that you must understand if you’re going to have any level of success.
- 1Strengthening the muscles takes time. Within 10 days your muscles will be firing more efficiently. So you may begin to feel stronger but you haven’t developed any muscle yet. Thus, you are not actually any stronger.
- 2Strength changes take time. About 4 weeks for actual muscle development that creates stability, so if you’re doing these exercises and you don’t notice any change, you need to make sure that you’re spending the proper length of time to see some change.
- 3Now, after 4 weeks you’ve noticed SOME change. These exercises should be performed over a long period time so that you will experience regular progressive improvement in your symptoms. And an increase in your health. So if you want to change your health improve your posture.
- 4Sometime there are structural misalignments that are going to cause you to continue to have problems even after you exercise, you are going to see a healthcare provider that will help you to really change the underlying structure.
