The Struggle
If you’re wondering how to stay motivated to eat healthy or exercise, then you’re going to want to watch this video. Hey friends, welcome back to the channel. And if you’re new here, I’m Dr. Emil Tompkins, a Chiropractor here in Southern Arizona. And on this channel, we explore the strategies and tools to help families grow healthier every day. And I’m asked this question a lot by someone who’s looking to change their life for the better, they’re struggling with something like severe pain, and in some cases, it can be debilitating. And when we begin to come up with a plan of action, sometimes I get a little bit of pushback, like, I don’t think I can commit to exercising, or I’m worried about it hurting or I can’t commit to eating differently. Or you’re not taking my brownies away, are you?
Ask Yourself
I’m going to tell you when you run into these thoughts, or ask these questions, or doubt that you can commit to something that’s going to seriously change your health and amazing ways. Ask yourself this simple question. And actually, before we get into that, so many days, I have someone say that they really enjoyed these kinds of videos and that’s the reason why they come to our office, but they never subscribed. So let’s go here’s the question you want to ask yourself, what tastes better brownies or being able to walk again? What tastes better than ice cream that you love so much or being able to play with your kids? What? What hurts more? the soreness that you get from a workout or the debilitating pain when you try to bend over to play with your pets? What tastes better than pasta and bread are finally being able to get out of bed without pain?
Be Honest
Guys, once we have honest answers to those questions, then the motivation to change your life and be healthier will begin to show but, probably not before. So don’t forget to ask that question.
