Today, I wanted to talk a little bit about heartburn, also known as acid reflux disease or GERD, gastroesophageal reflux disorders. Um, do you ever have issues after eating where you get that heartburn pain? Sometimes it’s chest pain. You might think you’re having a heart attack, um, or you get that acid taste in your mouth. Um, chronic hoarseness, your voice goes, or even just feeling like you’re coming down with a cold, but you just never get sick. It could be reflux. Maybe you don’t know. You have reflux. Some of the things that cause the reflux could be dietary things. It could be anatomical things. The difference between heartburn, also known as acid reflux and acid reflux disease or GERD. Gastroesophageal reflux disease is heartburn or reflux. They occur occasionally, but when you start having symptoms two or more times in one week, that can actually be considered a chronic condition, which is GERD.
